What FactOrHype is
FactOrHype gives you an automated claim check of short public videos about AI tools. Each check is based on public sources available at the time. We don't test the tools hands-on.
A check is not advice
Checks are informational and can be wrong or out of date – AI tools change fast. Don't rely on them for financial, legal or business decisions. Always look at the linked sources and the original post before acting.
Your use
- Only submit links to content you're allowed to view.
- Don't try to overload, reverse engineer or abuse the service. We may limit or block abusive use.
- Videos and their content belong to their creators. FactOrHype shows its own analysis and links to the original.
Subscriptions
FactOrHype Pro is an auto-renewing subscription billed through your Apple ID. It renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Free trials convert to a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial ends. Manage or cancel in your App Store account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple.
Free checks
Free users get a limited number of checks per week. We may change the free allowance.
Liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, FactOrHype isn't liable for decisions made based on a check, or for indirect damages. Apple's standard licensed application end user license agreement (EULA) also applies.
Changes
We may update these terms. If changes are significant, we'll note them in the app.
